*Color-Guard*

I am very pleased to announce that I am officially on the Dixie High School Color Guard :D. Oh my goodness I feel so proud of myself. I was woken up this morning at 5:15 by all the girls who made it and who were on the team last year. They came screamin and yellin into my bedroom this morning and I was freakin out cause they scared me. I had no idea what was going on until I heard their familiar laughs and voices. I finally realized on Friday that I was so excited to be trying out because I finally felt like I was apart of something in our school. Even if we don't get credit at all. I'm so excited to be doing it this year and I'm hoping that all my hard work and dedication will pay off in the long run.

*Dixie High School Color-guard Try-outs*

So I didn't tell anyone because there is always that little possible chance that I won't make it and I didn't really want anyone to make a huge deal out of it. I have been going to the try-out clinics to learn all the dances and the flag movements and all that fun stuff, and today was tryouts. Today was a half day at school (Got out at 12:30) then I went home to get all my stuff together and then had to be back at the school at 3 to start stretching and warming up before the judges got there. After that we went over the dances a few times then got our numbers, and went to line up. I was in the first group. We had a total of 6 girls try out so we're pretty much already on the team anyway. I was the second one so I was front and center where all the judges can see how nervous you are and if you lose your smile you get docked points. It was my main priority to at least get the Fight Song as good as I possibly could, and the first time I did really well and got most of the moves down, then they asked to see it again and I didn't to well that time, but I kept my smile that whole time. Next we did our lyrical dance and I messed up so many times I can't even explain it, I also forgot about half the dance so I just started doing my own thing and ended up doing better than I thought I would. Last we did just the regular dance without the flags and I thought I did amazing on that one cause it was just all the basic dance moves and we got to learn a dance for those like me who miss dance and performing a lot. We don't get to find out who made it until tomorrow probably after school which kinda makes me anxious about finding out. But I will have more information tomorrow. Wish me luck(:

Fishlake with the Family

This past weekend my brother Deven came down and we all went to Fishlake.
While it was raining all weekend (I love when it rains) down here, it was snowing like crazy up in Fishlake.

Well I wasn't told that it would be snowing up there all weekend, so I took pants and jackets and sweatshirts.
I didn't bring gloves, boots, snow pants or a coat.
Oh swell. We did end up having some extra snow stuff up there but not very much. At first, we all kinda sat around till the next day we were there. Saturday morning we got up, ate breakfast and went and tied up the sleds to the back of the rhino and had my dad pull me,
Deven and Brexton around by the lake and up and down our street. We then went down to Twin Creeks and took pictures down there by the bridges and by the lake. Then we went back to the cabin got in our jammies and sat around for the rest of the night. We woke up bright and early Sunday morning, had breakfast, went sledding again, then loaded up in the truck and drove back to Richfield so we could drop Deven off with his dad. It was such a funn weekend and I'm looking forward to it for next time.

Bracelets Finished

With the help of my Sister Danielle, and my 3 friends Josie, Joey and Savannah, we were all able to make 378 bracelets for the sophomore class of Dixie High School.

Here is the finished product of all 378 bracelets. I was soo excited when we got them done. We finished them last night then jumped around and got excited for about 10 minutes after.
