THe TimE Of OUR LiVEs!!!

Yesterday, Aspen and I were at the golf course just laying in the grass and I said to her, you know I wish it would rain today. Then 5 minutes later it started to sprinkle, then the wind started to pick up and the rain started to come down faster and then finally it started to rain really hard, so Aspen said lets go to your house, so in the pouring rain we ran for our lives to my house and then on our way there she lost her shoe. I told her to take them off and run like the wind. So we did. And when we got home, we walked in all wet and cold. So I ran to my room and got my big blue blanket and we went outside and watched the rain.
After a few minutes of watching the rain and the wind, we went inside and we watched one of the best movie EVER.

Pizazz Dance Team

Today I got to go and sign up for Pizazz. Its so much fun. We learn new dances and have a lot of fun. Our Director & coach's name is Christy Whitaker, She is a great dancer and a great coach. We get to preform in different activities, like this year we get to preform in front of lots of people at the world senior games and we get to do a great dance. She is very talented and has some great moves to show us.

"Dance teaches us to challenge ourselves, push beyond where we thought we could go, and help us find out what we are made of. This is what it's all about." Our goals that Christy wants us to set is: To practice our smile while dancing in class, hitting a double pirouette, getting your splits flat, remember to "lift" while practicing and preforming.

Here is the purpose of our goals: The Purpose of our goals is to focus our attention. The mind will not reach toward achievement until it has clear objectives. It is then that the switch it turned on, the current begins to flow, and the powerto accomplish becomes reality.

Some of the following are team goals that Christy would like all of us to work on this year:

~Temwork & friendship~

~Attitude & self Esteem~

~Excellence~

~Respect toward self & others~

~Responsibility~

~Flexibility~

So as you can see we have many things that we either have or still need to accomplish.

We are going to have such a great time this year.

4 days of fun, fun, fun

This weekend, Kathy, my little brother and I went to Salt Lake and spent some time with my family. We went school shopping and had so much fun. My cousin Mckena (Kena) and I on the last night we played 3 rounds of Skip-bo and had a blast.

We went to Fashion Place and bought a whole bunch of new clothes and stuff like that for me and my brothers. We also went to my grandpa Jim's and new Gramma Dori's new house. Wow what a nice place. But anyway, we did have so much fun and I hope to do it again another time.

Temple Trip!

This weekend the youth took a trip to the Oquirrah Mountain Temple. We had so much fun. We took a tour through the temple, it's so much fun to go through the temple and to feel the spirit and to do it with the boys and have such a great time with them and the bishop and the leaders and to go through and look at all of the beautiful work and time that has gone into building the temple. After we went through the temple we went to the hotel to check in and get our rooms, then we got ready and went to the Jordan River Temple and did baptisms for the dead. That was very spiritual and everyone felt really good doing it for some of the wards family members. When we were done getting confirmed, we went to go and get something to eat. And when we were in the car, I accidentally rolled down the window with my elbow and started to freak out then I for got how to roll it up again. We hung out at the resturant for a little while. When we were done there we went back to the Hotel and said the prayer and all got locked into our rooms by Mother Gurtrued. (One of the leaders). So it was about maybe 10:00 p.m. and Aspen, Lizzy and I were all still awake, then our friend Summer prank called us and on our way up, me and her were making jokes, I love Subway sandwiches I said. I love Subway stake, said Summer. But anyway, she asked me if I had ordered a stake from subway, and I said no. And we hung up. Aspen, Liz and I didn't and I promise, but we didn't go to bed until 1:00 A.M. So we fell asleep, and the next morning we woke up and went down to eat breakfast with the youth. And after breakfast, we all had to go into the hotel's confrance rrom and talked and played games. And we just had a great time. After we left the Hotel for the trip, we went to the Salt Lake City Visitors Center. And after we were done there, all of us went to a party for brother and sister Stout, because they got sealed in the temple and we got to go to the party. The party was one of my favorite parts of the trip. And after the party, the 24 hours of our Oquirrah Mountain Temple trip was over and we were all exausted. And that was the end.
